7 day Video Game Auction March 7th.

Monday March 7th (at 8am) will kick off our Video Game Auction. It will go on through Sunday March 14th at 9pm when all bidding will close.
Remember, nothing says I love you like a video game and a charitable donation for your loved one.
I am still accepting donations of any video games, systems, accessories, old, new… anything video game related. Please email me at bookoute@hotmail.com, or message me on facebook up until March 7th if you have anything to contribute. The auction will appear in the Video Game Auction tab here at helpmysister.com.
Amy Update.
After going through a couple of different doctors and two hospitals, Amy and her family have decided that the Doctors and treatments offered at Beaumont are their best option. Treatment will begin this Wednesday. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers, and thank you for the continued support and donations.

Facebook Auction Starts Friday!

Allison King (Amy’s cousin) has organized a facebook auction starting this friday (1/21/2011) at 6p and ending on Sunday, 1/23, at 6p. Lots of great natural parenting items were donated, also two etsy items near and dear to my heart, shirocosmetics (vegan cosmetics) and infusion (natural fiber purses and shoes). Please go to the facebook page of ‘Independent Cloth Diaper Consultant, Allison King’ on Friday to see items and bid (you must like the page).
All proceeds will go to My Friends Care in honor of Amy Gregory.

To comply with IRS rules and ensure that 100% of the funds go towards helping Amy, checks must be made payable to “My Friends Care” with a note in the memo that says, “in honor of Amy Gregory.”

My sister Amy (Bookout) Gregory has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. For those of you who may not know Amy, she is a young and vibrant mother to three young girls (ages 1, 10, and 13), wife to husband Bill, sister, daughter, and friend. As if raising three children in a tough economy were not hard enough, they are now faced with a new challenge, and with that, a mounting stack of medical bills. With each new appointment, prescription, test, and treatment, Amy and her family are incurring costs that they simply cannot afford to pay.
To help ease the financial burden, we have formed an alliance with My Friends Care, a 501-(c)3, non-profit organization that assists cancer patients in raising funds for medical expenses.
We understand that times are tough for most everyone, but we are asking for your help, however, big or small, to ensure that Amy is able to focus on her health and continue getting the medical help she needs for a chance at life. By making a tax-deductible contribution to My Friends Care on Amy’s behalf, you will help cover the cost of the treatment she needs to fight this disease.
